This page exists in honor of my mother, Wilberta E. Warren.
It lives alongside my work as an editorial designer because dignity, care, and intention matter beyond aesthetics. This is not a charity page. It is a legacy page. It reflects why protection, respect, and compassion are non negotiable in both design and in life.

This ministry is founded in honor of Wilberta E. Warren, a mother that was a Domestic Victim for 15 years of mental, physical, and verbal abuse. I witnessed her suffering beginning when I was a child. The physical abuse began when I was eight years old, and from that point forward, fear, harm, and instability became part of daily life.
As a direct result of her abuse, my mother’s health was permanently and devastatingly impacted. She became seriously ill and battled that illness for several years, enduring repeated hospitalizations.
During her final hospitalization, she spent five months in the hospital before ultimately losing her life. Her pain was real. Her endurance was real. And her story deserves to be told with honesty, accuracy, and dignity without exposing details that were never hers to share.
The Wilberta E. Warren Ministry Foundation exists to support abused women and childrenin shelters who are living in circumstances similar to those my mother endured, women who are surviving, rebuilding, and learning how to feel safe again. We provide direct, compassion led support through essential resources and offer spiritual care only when invited.
This ministry is privately funded and will always remain so. We do not accept government grants, public funding, or financial contributions of any kind. Every act of giving comes from personal sacrifice and intentional commitment, ensuring that this work remains independent, ethical, and free from outside influence.
What I witnessed as a child will not be repeated in silence. What my mother endured will not be forgotten. Through this ministry, her suffering is transformed into protection, care, and hope for other women so that no child has to watch their mother disappear under abuse again.
As part of our ministry, care is expressed through the consistent preparation and monthly delivery of care bags made with unopened essential items to a local Domestic and Family Violence shelter.
I want you to know something clearly and without hesitation. You are not invisible.
You are not weak. And nothing that happened to you was your fault.
Abuse has a way of making people doubt themselves. It can make you question your worth, your choices, your voice, and even your right to take up space.
If you feel tired, guarded, unsure, or disconnected, there is nothing wrong with you. Those are human responses to harm. They make sense.
This space exists because someone believed your life mattered even when it may have felt unsafe or impossible to believe that yourself. It exists because your story deserves care, not judgment. You do not have to explain yourself here. You do not have to be ready for anything you are not ready for.
Healing does not have a timeline. Strength does not always look loud. Sometimes it looks like getting through the day. Sometimes it looks like resting. Sometimes it looks like choosing yourself in small, quiet ways.
All of that counts.
Please hear this with gentleness. You deserve safety. You deserve dignity. You deserve a life that is not shaped by fear. And even if you cannot see what comes next, your life still holds meaning and possibility.
You are allowed to move at your own pace.
You are allowed to hope again, even slowly.
And you are worthy of care exactly as you are.
You do not need to join anything. You do not need permission. And you do not need to go through this foundation to make a difference.
If you feel led to act, consider supporting women impacted by abuse in ways that are safe, ethical, and local to you.
This may look like donating items directly to a shelter in your community, supporting organizations already equipped to serve survivors, or offering care and compassion within your own reach.
Small, intentional acts matter. Quiet support matters. Showing up with respect and without conditions matters.
This foundation exists to honor a legacy, not to organize people. The work continues when individuals choose dignity, protection, and care in their own lives and communities.
