The Luxury LOTUS Napkin Fold with McKinney Signature Style™ brings dimension, structure, and elegance directly to the place setting. Its layered presentation creates the appearance of a blooming flower, allowing the napkin to become part of the tablescape rather than simply an accessory placed beside it.
Designed with balance in mind, the technique adds visual interest while complementing the charger, dinnerware, florals, and surrounding details. The result is a place setting that commands attention on its own while still belonging beautifully within the complete design.
Sometimes the detail guests remember most is the one waiting for them at their seat.

This technique came from me wanting more from the place setting. I wanted that little detail at each seat to look intentional and connected to everything around it. The napkin, charger, centerpiece, linen, and overall table design should look like they belong together. When I use my Napkin Brooch Technique, that's exactly what I'm looking for connection, balance, and a finished presentation.

When I design a bouquet, I don't want the flowers to simply sit together. I want the entire bouquet to have movement, balance, shape, and presence. I pay attention to how the florals fall, how the colors move through the design, and how the bouquet looks from the front, the side, and while it's being carried. That's what gives it that finished McKinney look.

Layering can bring richness and dimension to a tablescape, but more does not automatically mean better. Proportion, placement, spacing, and restraint are what allow multiple elements to work together without overwhelming the design.
The McKinney Stacking Method Brooch Technique approaches layering with intention, creating depth while maintaining the polished presentation associated with Designing with Latisha McKinney.

The McKinney Napkin Bloom Brooch Technique™ brings softness, dimension, and a distinctive focal point to the place setting. The sculpted presentation allows the napkin to become an intentional part of the tablescape, while the brooch adds a refined finishing detail that complements the surrounding design.
Created to work in harmony with the charger, dinnerware, florals, and overall setting, the technique adds visual interest without overpowering the table.
Sometimes the smallest detail at the table is what brings the entire presentation together.
